Hi! I'm Justin!
I am a fitness professional and personal trainer in Santa Monica and West Los Angeles. I’m a StrongFirst Certified Bodyweight Instructor and a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer.
Simply put, my personal training philosophy involves focusing on keeping things simple but effective.
I focus on the simple, yet most effective 20% of training techniques that will get you 80% of the results.
Why do I do this? Because I believe in getting strong and looking good without having to spend countless hours in the gym. After all, I want to live a full life (as do you I presume)!
After training with me, my clients come out stronger, harder-to-kill and are better movers in all situations. I’ve worked with a variety of different clients ranging from teenagers looking to build muscle to amateur competitive athletes to regular 9-5ers looking to lose weight.
The beginning of my fitness journey began freshman year of college when I picked up a copy of P90X. Before that, I was a pretty nerdy kid who played a lot of video games. I would run sometimes and go on the gym occasionally in high school, but it was never serious or through an organized program.
P90X was the first program to introduce me to the larger world of fitness. From there, I would try other programs and find new ways to test myself physically. I ended up joining the Men’s Rowing team at USC my junior year, ran Tough Mudders and Spartan races and even attended a one week Navy SEAL training camp for civilians called “Extreme SEAL Experience” run by a former Navy SEAL, Don Shipley.
After graduating from college, I got certified as a personal trainer from NASM and the rest, you could say, is history.
