Bored of Training Alone? Try Small Group or Couples Personal Training!

Let’s face it, working out alone can be boring. Sometimes a little bit of healthy competition is just what the doctor ordered. If you have a friend or significant other, why not work out with them?

With group or couples personal training, you get many of the same benefits as in 1-on-1 personal training with the benefit of extra accountability and fun. However, it is important to note that the larger the group or the more different the group (in terms of where you are physically), the less personalized a group session will be. Ideally, it is best to partner with someone who is of a similar fitness and skill level as yourself.

That said there is still a high degree of personalization available in semi-private training, especially when compared to a group class with a very high attendance.

The majority of my clients train with me at a privately owned gym in West Los Angeles/Santa Monica called “The Gym LA”. . However, I am open to discussing training at other locations per your request.

I’m certified as a personal trainer through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and as a bodyweight instructor through StrongFirst. My training style utilizes a lot of kettlebell and bodyweight exercises. However, I will ultimately use whichever exercise modalities will best move you towards your goals (whether they be dumbbells, kettlebells, bodyweight, barbells etc.)

As with my regular 1-on-1 personal training clients, my group and couples training sessions also focus on the simple but most effective exercises that get you the most results.
