Have you ever seen someone do something and thought it was impossible?

I sure have.

I used to think that people were born a certain way. Born with a perfect beach body. Born with amazing strength. Born with great athleticism. Etc.

You get the idea.

And it wasn't just in the fitness realm. I thought that people had to be born with certain skills as well.

Want to be an entrepreneur? Too bad, you have to be born into an entrepreneurship family.

Yeah that's what I used to believe. And it sucked. I would think things like, "I'll never be that strong," or "I could never do that."

But deep down, I didn't want to accept that. I didn't want to believe that I couldn't achieve those things that I wanted.

So I started training seriously. It took sheer determination and force of will. But I kept at it.

And eventually I began to notice the changes. They were subtle at first. But my body was changing. I started to look better. I could do things that I couldn't do before.

Eventually, I could do those things that I once believed to be impossible.

This is what I love about training people. I love seeing people accomplish the things they once believed were impossible. I want to help people shatter every limiting belief they might have about themselves. And after that, I want to help people get on the path of being the best version of themselves.

My philosophy in fitness involves focusing on the simplest, yet most effective exercises that will get you the most bang for your buck.

You could say that I focus on the 20% of exercises that get you 80% of the results.

Fitness is something that can be very confusing and most people do not want to spend countless hours in the gym.

I aim to break down high level fitness concepts in a manner that is easy to digest and applicable to regular people. My goal with each of my clients is to get them stronger, harder-to-kill, and become better movers in all situations.

My fitness journey started my freshman year of college when I bought my first ever fitness program: P90X.

Before that, I had gone to the gym every now and then but had no routine or structure. P90X was the first time I had followed an actual programmed routine.

Going through P90X made me curious to see what else was out there in the world of fitness. I ended up joining the Men’s Rowing team my junior year, ran a few Spartan Races and Tough Mudders and attended Extreme SEAL Experience, a bootcamp for civilians run by a former Navy SEAL.

After graduating from college, I moved to the Santa Monica/West Los Angeles area (because I wanted to be by the ocean) and got my NASM personal training certification. I had originally intended to pursue acting and personal training was only meant to be my acting “day job”.

However as I went further along, it became clear that I was more interested in fitness than in being an actor. I then decided to focus on fitness and be a personal trainer full time eventually becoming certified by StrongFirst as a bodyweight instructor.

When I’m not doing personal training, you can find me modeling part time, making YouTube videos or geeking out. I’m a big fan of Marvel, DC, Star Wars and various other video game and geek culture franchise. I also enjoy movies, board games, going out, and pretty much a lot of other things that most people enjoy as well.
